Jenny Clark

As a youngster, Jenny spent a lot of time alone which allowed her to indulge in drawing and colouring. When Jenny was a student in year 8 she decided to enter an art competition and won first prize.
The competition subject was camping and the winning exhibit depicted tents and people relaxing around a camp fire, from that moment on she was inspired to continue her art journey.
Later on in life Jenny put art on hold as raising a family and work commitments took priority until six years ago Jenny took a leap of faith and joined the Ballarat Society of Artists.
Since joining the Art Society Jenny has never looked back and has learnt a lot from other artists. Her favourite mediums are Watercolour, pastel and Acrylics. After a great restart with BSA the
dreaded Covid virus engulfed the world so she was forced to continue her art at home. The experience of lockdown spurred her on as an important escape from the negative media hype.
She is inspired by her quest to learn and finds the more she learns the more she needs to learn, this has become her outlet to release tension and be in a peaceful place. Art is an expression of
one's view on life she says and there is so much you can gain from this social yet solitude experience.
As an artist Jenny wishes to share her art with other people, has entered shows and won first prize for her Port Douglas picture in pastel medium.
