Gladys Toering

As a child reared in the country side near Daylesford, I was always interested in drawing and painting.

Now that I have fulfilled family and business commitments, I am free to pursue my interest in art.

I have been a member of the Ballarat Society of Artists for over 20 years and have participated in a variety of classes and workshops
with other experienced and talented artists. This has been inspiring, informative and enjoyable.

I enjoy painting the beautiful Australian Landscape and bush, mainly in oils. I also paint early Australian miner cottages in watercolor,
pen and wash.

Most artists have their own unique style developed over the years. That to me is what makes art so interesting, diverse and exciting.
