Shirley as a young girl first started showing interest in art when she began drawing in the sand.

 

Soon enough Shirley enjoyed coloured pencils and crayons and so her love of drawing continued.

 

As an adult as is often the case, her passion for drawing was put on hold whilst she managed her home family and other activities.  Later on Shirley felt the need to return to her passion and soon joined a local community group.

 

Saturday painting in Sebastopol was a popular spot for Shirley to be found . On her journey she has explored different mediums such as Watercolor, Acrylics and also coloured pencils.

 

Shirley has entered various shows and she has won many awards for her work. Shirley later became a member of the BSA society and hasn’t looked back. A prolific artist with a passion no one can deny.
